plus he's a lucky SOB, he has 3:73s already

id do a 220/224 .585.589 112 cam
or a 222/226 .585.589 112 bc you like the chop lol
id also look into a set of LTs/ OR-y to add to the mix imo

When I did the cam I ran 15.4, with the addition of headers and nothing else ran a 14.7.

I say wait until you can do both.

imma talk him into a spec'd cam vs a shelf cam they are the same price imo. besides he DD it an its not a track toy. i think a 220/224 or even the 222/226 would work very well

i just dont want you to over cam an be a turd

I'm glad yall agree with the cam idea. That's the direction I wanted to go. Spec'd cam sounds like a plan. Where to go for that? Thunder? or maybe Futral?

For the white truck, I called Kip at Cammotion, he was a great help, designed the cam, and called me back a day or so later. Id defiantly call someone that design's cams for a living and get one designed before I bought one off the shelf. Im sure all the popular ones will do good, but for your set up a custom grind may do better.

Also, Id definatly do the cam and headers. I did headers first on my CC, but Im probably not gonna do a cam, and I had the headers lying around. On the White truck, I did a few cams before I did headers. Honestly, using the butt dyno on the CC, I noticed a huge difference with the LT's, but on the RC with the 6.0, I didnt notice much if any difference going from manifolds and gutted Y to LT's and ORY. Im sure they helped a little, just not very noticeable
