Default Cam

After the first of the year I am planning on doing a cam swap in my truck. I want something with good low and mid power as I do tow with it and I plan on using a Trailblazer converter when I have to rebuild my tranny. All the modsI have are in me sig so I'm just looking for ideas and what some other people have used that worked good for them.

why not search. There's way more information then you'd ever know what to do with already on this site.

That way you can look through posts people have already made as opposed to having to wait for everyone to respond.

Personally if I was going to do a cam in a 5.3 Id go with something like a 212/216 - 560/565 (or higher on the lift) on a 112+4 or 214/218 - and same on the lift & LSA

I had a 110/110 - 555/555 in my 6.0 and it was nice and torquey and made good power and towed well. I was using a stock converter.

I would look into a 212/218. Highlift on a 114lsa for your needs.that is an awesome cam even with a stock torque converter
