Haha that's what I'm wondering, if the 450R is stock it should be a riders race like it always has been..

All 450's are in trouble before too long. I am a Master Service Tech at a Yamaha/Can Am dealer and Cam Am has a DS450 coming out, that'll probably be dominant. Its fuel injected, lightest 450 out, most powerful 450 and probably the most thoughout production suspension setup. http://www.can-amds450.com/

That being said, between the Honda and the Yamaha, I'd go for the Yamaha too, but those decal kits on the Balance 450's are a bitch to put on. but they are not shipped on there, just in a pack for the dealer to install.

Buddy of mine bought a raptor 700 yesterday, im stickin to the 4x4 tho. I will be a prowd owner of a yammy this week, but it will be a rhino.

 

rhino's are sweet...but that would be the only yamaha atv i'd own...I'm honda man RIDE RED!!!!

 

Well, mine is stock FOR NOW but nothing I have owned has stayed stock. I already went out racing and it was running head to head and beating modded hondas, raptors, YFZ's and others and mine isn't even broken in yet, so once the mods begin this thing is going to fly. I was impressed on how it ran today for being stock.

I was going to buy a Raptor but my cousin just got one and I didn't want to have the same bike and start buying the same mods and the only difference be the rider. So, I got the Bill Ballance Edition GYTR cause that's the only one I liked other than the Raptor.

 

it definitely costs less to make a honda faster...you can do a couple free mods and be faster than a cammed and piped honda...take out your baffle on your muffler and retard your exhaust cam one tooth...they're a whole other machine after just those two mods.

 

i mean it costs less to make a yamaha faster...a lot less
