I think the tranny might be going to get a refresh at FLT this summer.

Exact same thing going on here. It's not that you're cam is 'too big'. The workable power range has been moved too far up for your converter size to do any good. Put a 3600-4000 in there and you'll cut 1.7s all day w/ traction. I think your roughly ETing 13.5s as it sits. Tuning alone would drop you in the lower 13s. Converter swap will put you in the 12s. Then do all of that other BS you metioned... belts, weight redux. But you know this.

not on purpose. How is it going with that? Give me a call tomorrow afternoon and we will get it up and running. I would today but i have a test at 12:40 tomorrow. Anytime after 1:30, im good to go! Then we have to pull Rudd ******* motor to replace the oil pump.
