HMMM I actually think duron has a Mail order from Injected racing, hence how he got the sticker. But He has had dyno speed dyno tune it.

I know that they have to get scotts tune of the computer so My guess is Injected racing. Ill call them tommorow and see whats up and talk some ****.

All I've ever seen Duron run is.............nothing. He won't ever run that Cobra. Why? Everyone talks about how bad it is, and that he doesn't run it cause it won't hook.....bullshit, if Calebs car will hook, Duron's could too.

 

You know the only thing he runs is Busa's from 275 mph rolls! Duh!

 

Nah that isnt correct thier rhino. Caleb has full suspension mods. All duron has is stiffer IRS springs. On nitto 555r's. Caleb runs a 28x12.50 SLICK!! with a sra. With 4 link and qa1's and many other small suspension mods.

And if im not mistaken I think duron put out 15rwhp more or less then caleb dont remember which.

Thats a diff. Durons excuse on the street is cause it wont hook. He now has his brace over his rearend and says "Next time we go to memphis he will run it, centverille wont tell him **** and is a waste of his time". LOL Im in no way takin gup for him just telling you the diff in the rear end setups.

 

Weak excuse! If the guy can afford a built Cobra, surely a pair of $350 slicks won't break the bank.

 

Im sorry cody but I do believe duron when he says what he does about not racing. I mean that is his car his problem. I do give him more **** then ANYONE!!! But its all fun and games. And IMO its not a weak excuse. 350 slicks, wheels wide enough to run them, HALF shafts that will bust when launched and hooked on a track. The list goes on.

Its isnt hard to make a cobra a dyno queen as you know. and that is what duron has! Free and dyno queen. Now on the hand calebs car is basicaly the smae car just setup for the drag strip and not the freeway.

 

Well Caleb has the Solid rear as Duron still has the IRS, but I have seen IRS cars lift the tires. Now it was an upgraded rear end but still if it is done right it will hook. If Duron went out there and dumped it there is no doubt in my mind that it would explode the rear end in his car, if not the first time, it would be soon.

I have met and talked with both Duron and Scott, they are nice guys and have quick vehicles. I know for a fact that a C5Z06 wouldnt run him cause the Z06 knew he was gonna lose. Duron's car is stout

 

Tan327, I'm with you, thats a ****** weak excuse. Why would you mod it to that much power if you can't use it. Caleb doesn't have the only pair of slicks that will fit on a Cobra, Duron could get some I'm sure. I like Duron and his car, but sometime or another, he's gonna have to prove something to somebody after all the talk about how it'll do this and that....

 

Oh yeah, and Jakes car is as stout as Duron's, he don't use no pansy *** excuse, he's at the track running all the time.

 

Yeah no joke, and he runs on freakin' street tires! I think Duron's car should be a bit quicker than Jakes though, but still..
