YES...the ol' hauler is alive again. Swap went pretty good except for forgetting to replace the oil pickup o-ring, which we had to go back and do after we had already gotten everything back together which sucked *****- the crank pulley is a s.o.b. to mess with inside the truck. Idles with a fair amount of chop, shifts around 6800, and will easily liquify the toyo proxes s/t's. It's a little choked up without headers, but we'll fix that shortly. The 408 is definately worth every penny!

 

Glad ya'll got it going. Is everyone still up for the GTG this Saturday? How about a time, maybe 4:00? We need a roll call..

 

I'm flat broke this weekend and that 408 is thirsty, but I will still try to go if I can scrounge the cash. Otherwise it's next weekend
