Anyone from NW Florida or surrounding areas?
 

Just wondering if anyone on this forum still active is from NW Florida or the surrounding areas?

Pensacola, Pace, Milton, Navarre, Niceville, Crestview, even Daphne AL, Spanish Fort AL, etc??

Every now and then I see some guys around the area near Pensacola and Milton, but have not met many guys.

We need some kind of meet around the area. I know about Pensacola on 9 mile road at burger king / winn dixie, but would rather go with a few other people sometime..

No one lol?? Just trying to possibly meet some new people.

I am a little farther to the east in Panama City Beach. I have found the car seen in the area has declined significantly over the past few years. Pensacola used to be a pretty happening place. It may still be and I am just out of the loop now. :dunno:

Im over in the ocala area, id be down for a meet if it was big enough...

I still troll around from time to time. BK is still the place to go although I haven't been in a few years. The truck scene has dropped off a lot. Things were on a decline prior to the recession and then it really flat lined afterwards.

Ive been living here almost a year and havent found ANY truck/car scene. Just for that reason I sold my modded tbss and bought a 12 silverado. The scene where I use to live (Jackson, MS) ALWAYS had stuff going on!

Well if any of you guys wants to setup a dyno day, I can contact Adams Automotive in Crestview Florida and see about a group discount. That way we can have a little fun and meet up..

Let me know.. I am going to get mine dynoed sometime anyhow with current mods and go back after I do some more work to my truck.

I dont have anything worthy of putting on a dyno anymore! haha..

I'm in Pcola. I would be interested in getting together with some of y'all. I've got an nnbs 5.3 with Blackbear, cai, and exhaust- so not much dyno worthiness. I am looking to do some stuff in the future though... Isky 212, 4L80e and turbo in the next few years.

I am in Marianna Fl., north of Panama City. There a a few trucks that show up at the dragstrips in Cottonwood and Panama City. Cottonwood has the Arm Drop and lights out races where you negotiate lengths, Panama City has Funday Sunday which is test and tune along with grudge races. Would like to see more truck action.

I'm in PC with this big lunk head ;) But I'd be down for a truck meet. *Cough* Kenny*cough*

I live in Andalusia, Al a little under 2 hours north west but I would love a truck meet some where close that would be nice for a change

Im down for one. It's hard to get one actually started though. I'd be willing to drive to Fairhope, daphne / Spanish Fort area to the west of me and to the East of me all the way past Crestview If needed. Someone set one up, I'm down on a weekend.

I know, I've been a slacker. I'll try to kick things up a notch sooner than later. :)


There's a Camaro/Firebird Meet coming up March 30 in Destin, but you can be assurred we'd not turn any GM enthusiasts away- I'll be rolling over in the truck towing my Fireturd, so anyone who would like to join in feel free- We can create a truck section in a hurry. ;)

FNLO Friday Night Lights Out, Arm drop street style racing at Cottonwood Alabama just a few miles north of the Florida border. Don't be scared!

Have they cleaned that place up any? Last time I was there (probably 3-4 years ago) you needed a 4x4 to go down the track due to all the rocks/debris on it.

I was at Cottonwood 2 weeks ago and the track was working good. They have hired Big Scott that used to prep at Panama City. My truck usually has a traction problem and it was hooked pretty good.

No. Last time I was there was with Jake and he broke the 'nanner.

Um, that would be everytime he took that thing out. That's the only car (arguably) that ever broke more than mine.

I'm from dothan al. Cottonwood has cleaned up a bunch over the years. They have lights out the last Friday of every month. Y'all ought to come out

I live in Mary Esther down near Hurlburt Field. A few friends and I are going out to Atmore Dragway this Sunday for the test and tune or at least that's the plan as of now.

Hey guys, just wanted to see if we could hook up some kind of meet or something just to make a few Chevy enthusiast friends. I'm actually stationed in Japan as I said before but I'll be home sometime in September and the last few days of August. If anyone wants to meet up I have a few friends I could possibly round up as well. I would be in Milton btw.

I am over in Mobile, if I have something to drive by then I would love to meet up with some of you guys.

Hey fellas, I'm bout to make a trip home from Okinawa and I'll be in the Milton and Poland area from about the 29th of August til the 24th of September and I'd like to get something together with some of you fellow enthusiasts one weekend. Maybe set up some kind of cruise, or some racing and saw someone talking bout hooking a group dyno day up for cheap. If anyone has any ideas or knows of any shows or anything then let's do it.

I'm down if someone sets up something. I have a full time job now with not much spare time so I cannot set up a meet atm.
