Im going to buy my trans from a place called transformance the guy there is really nice and he is going to sell me an 80e shipped to my door for 1650 with a 6 month warranty, transgo shift kit, steel shims, blue clutches, vacuum modulated shifts and a few other things, sounds like a damn good deal to me

I got my built 80e from phoenix transmissions in weatherford. they offer a two year warranty as long as you dont go over the power rating. you have to pay for what you get though.

I would like to see a shop give me a two year warranty on a truck thats going to have 1000rwtq

my tranny is rated at 950hp and 1000lbtq. They stand behind it as long as you dont go over the power rating. I broke mine once and took it over to them they fixed it no charge and I havent had a problem since. They also have one that is rated at 750/800 for about $600 less.

You have to have the oreily guy look up a 99 unit. They are the same and when I got mine it was actually out of a 2002 4wd truck.

Sweet, Jim is a great guy. He has been very helpful and extremely nice every time I've needed something.
