Default after 3 months, tranny is done

got word from the builder today. my improved 4l60e is done and is ready for pickup.

ok, 3 months part, tranny dies, takes a while before i think about pulling it, then deployment to germany, get home, two weeks go by, i pull it, drop it off, then hurricane katrina comes and i tell builder to take time as i am activated by the guard. finally i have 4 days off coming up and he gets it done in true fashion.

his words were, the 3-4 clutches were burnt and the band was starting to burn but that is do to me driving it with the case cracked and no fluid in the tranny. hmmm, so the 60e was holding up to sprayed launches on a 100 shot. as bigkid said it would. good deal. now it has to contend with a 150 shot and a 3200 stall .

anyway, fuddle racing took my basic converter i got from them and transformed it into a truck thruster or whatever they call it converter in less than a week and it will be here tomorrow as he promised. less than a week turnaround.

so come monday when i have my first day off from Kat, it's tranny and verter time. then to the exhaust shop to fix a few things then to the body shop for some Cane damage repair.

anyone want to suggest a new color for a white truck?

btw, i am happy as ****. can't you tell.

if i thought i could get away with that paint scheme and be taken seriously, it would be on the truck. scooby was da man. or dog rather.

With a 3 month build....that should be a hell of a nice tranny, huh? Glad to see its done and I'm sticking with the sunset orange black powdercoated wheels suggestion. I think that would look pimp.
