yeah . I work in a shop with welders and such. Gonna add a few inches to the crossmember, pick up a used trans ,harness, yolk, dipstick tube, and converter. The only thing new I'll use is fluid and a tranny mount. I am cheap like that. I am getting it from the same place I got my lq4 and they give 101 days to return if you have any concerns. wish me luck !

Cut the part the tranny mounts to off the front off the crossmember and have it welded in the same spot on the back side of the crossmember and the 80e will bolt right up like it came that way from the factory.
The stock flywheel will work. You will need to drill some holes for the torque converter to mount to.

But, I have the 80e flywheel that came off the 6.0 when I did the swap. Thanks for the tip on how to flip the mount. Do Ineed to buy the 80 mount or will the 60 fit. The yolk is my biggest concern right now . Thanks again and nice vids
