Default 04 GTO owner...

Browsing around another forum I came across this 04 GTO owner giving an explanation on the LS1 GTO vs. LS2.

"Lol. I actually chose getting the LS1 over the LS2. They have a lot of tuning issues (Torque management, electronic throttle body, few other things) that the LS1s don't have, plus the aftermarket for LS1s is WAY bigger than the LS2s."

Is this any of this non sense true at all? Sounds like BS to me.

I was under the impression the aftermarket would pretty much apply to both since they are so closely related?

the ls2's had a bunch more tuning issues when I had my 04. The price difference was huge, and they really weren't running all that much faster. The aftermarket was a lot bigger on the 04's. Not all parts can transfer between the models.
