Upon scanning the site numerous times a day I notice PTN is the slowest one.
It's not every login, but 1in3 33.333333333333333% of the time.

Other forums load up and go but here it lags alot. any ideas?

That odd, loads lightning quick for me.

Can do a ping test and it might give some info.

go on your lapotp and desktop to the start, then run and type ping www.performanetrucks.net and then try another forum that you are on a lot also and compare the results.

For instance I am using my phone as my connection right now at work and I have a ping to this site of 239ms


For r6-forum.com i get a ping of 42ms
Google i get 50ms



Does seem something is up with this forum. It could be they are doing maintenance or upgrades or something. Maybe a mod could PM the admin and get more info.

This site is slow for me too

 

Watch your status bar down at the bottom when you click every link. Look at all the ad links and other BS it's got to load through before performancetrucks.net shows up. That's why it's so slow.

Internet Brands probably sells all the information we post to advertising/marketing companies. Those companies probably pay a lot of money for it too.

 

my average ping was 85ms and doing a trace its 18 levels away from me, somewhere on the west coast

 

running an add blocker will help a lot with load times also

 

I have the same problem, I thought it was weird it's just this site. Maybe its all the ads

 

I've got AdBlocker for Chrome, however this site always seems to lag...

 

Well i am glad i am not the only one experiencing such slow speeds.
