Loss of posts
I don' t know if this is the right place, if not, Mods let me know. I've been on PT about a week( Registered) but lurked a long time. Why do I lose posts or threads I start/ contribute to? Usually happens w/ a long post or reply. Does it timeout or something? Ideas? 
I type slow. So I abbreviate whenever I can, for speed. I know how to spell, use punctuation, grammar, etc. Here are a few I like use.
u = you
u r = you are
usu. = usually
enuff =enough
esp. =especially
& others. Even if I try to use these shortcuts, to hurry along. Doesn't matter. And I don't lose stuff every time. Not on short reply. Anybody had this happen? Why does this glitch occur even if I'm signed in?

If you go to "quick links"
go to "My Profile"
and then look under your join date and it has 2 options..
"find all posts or "find all thread"
if you don't see it in there than it doesn't exhist...
Give it a whirl

I think what I meant to say is, I'd hit Submit Reply, to answer someones' post. Only to lose all I typed. Some kinda message pops up. Then, I retype the same message. Happened 3X when I replied to a post on suspension. Next time I see that message, I'll PM what it says. Or post on this thread too. I hope its nothing w/ my computer.

sounds messed up. back in the bad connection (bandwidth) days of pt.net that happened alot. I got used to highlighting everything I typed and right clicking then clicking copy b4 i clicked replied. If it got lost I would just paste the post back in.

Dewey & Trever, it happened again. I think msg. said u r not logged on, can't post for whatever reason, & #3 said...hmm? Forgot. I'm writing it down next time for sure.
