Changing login method, no longer want to login with face book
#1
Is there a way to retain my username, threads, replies and statistics but no longer have to use face book to login in here? I want to change to a regular login with username and password. Thank you.

If it were that easy, I would've already. Once you click that blue bar to the left that says login with facebook, it seems like my username is tied to logging in that way. My username has no password attached to it and I tried to add one.....no go. I'm hoping an Admin here can let me know if I'm screwed for a regular login or if it can be converted. Thanks for the post.

sorry... i can be a little facetious at times (especially when the joke writes itself).
having deleted the book of faces before this became an option, i can't ops test this for you...
but my troubleshooting would go as follows:
having deleted the book of faces before this became an option, i can't ops test this for you...
but my troubleshooting would go as follows:
- dig through all the sub-menus & options in the User CP... if nothing useful, continue as below:
- specifically 'log out' of pt.net
- clear your browser cookies
- completely close out of your browser
- reopen browser
- navigate to pt.net
- click 'forgot password'
- input username & see if it sends you an email (or facebook message) with a temp password
- change temp to your desired password
- never click the blue button again

Awesome! That worked. Thank you very much....I really appreciate your help with that! I never thought of trying the Forgot Password option since I hadn't ever set up a password. Never again blue button. Thanks again _zebra
