98ish in the trck...which is apporacthing top of 3rd gear. still pulling to but speed limiter ftl

i had a 74 ventura..speedo was WAYY off for instance...ot do 65mph the speedo would be at 40ish...but 40mphthe speedo was at 25ish. dont remember exactly, been a while, but i had it up to 100 or so, speedo went to 120 but at 100 it was enough for me. going off the 'assumption' it stayed off its still 160ish mph. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/719901 thats the cars cardomain...man i miss that beast

 

I hit about 138mph somewhere on the 5 north at about 3AM, everything felt smooth except for my buddy freaking out in the passenger seat

 

Fastest that I was able to record w/ my navigation was 144... going uphill neverthless. I do think I went about 150+ another time but my navigation was reading "searching for satelitte".
Roads were clear and no one around. Truck felt really smooth at those speeds as well, body never shuddered or wobbled, just kept pulling. Only reason I let off was for a turn coming up, felt like I was going 80.

I had my crew up to 140 when it was lowered with nice tires.....I would not try it now, ****** feels like it is going to come apart at 110

 

I was told I was up around 146mph. 4.10's & 295/70-17's in 3rd @ 6k.

This was done at a private test track!!!!

 

65mph all day everyday!

 

Nothing with the new SSS, but I hit 155 in my 96Z @ 5K rpm in 5th, still pulling hard. I shut it down because the speedo stopped at 155 and I didn't want to told how fast I was going by the fuzz.

 

Here's something I saved from four years ago when I bought my SS.

 

stock limited to 98. now after the tune 120. topm speed i have been in my truck is 115. i was like woah!!! it felt unreal.

 

100 or what ever it shuts off at in my avalanche.....but not for long
167 in a 99 corvette I was driving and let out cuz it was a bit windy and felt like the car was fixing to take off like an air plane!
186 in a 06 Z06 I wasnt driving and didnt feel very comfortable at this speed
110+in my 99 Z71 with 10" lift and 35"s .....not a good idea by the way but was suprisingly smooth
