Sounds good. Do you still have the stock heads on there? If so sounds like you need some 243's for some descent compression.

Stock heads are still on, thought about doing a head swap or even a 408 build with some good heads. What are the 243 heads? Is there that much hp gain with them?

Best et's are as follows, 1/8 8.77 1/4 13.96 with a 1.94 60ft. I can't remember the mph, I think it was around 95mph. I am having bad KR issues with 7 degrees retard. Hopefully will be getting retuned soon. I don't think it is spark knocking, possibly exhaust touching the frame or may need to change the sensitivity some. I don't know much about tuning, that's why I paid somebody else but obviously, it still ain't right.

The stock heads your compression is at 9:1 or so and cams love compression! The 243 heads are LS6 or LS2 heads 243 casting wich will bring you up to about 11:1 or so. You can find some for fairly cheap then I would get some ARP bolts to bolt them on

Will it still run on 93 octane without knock? How big of a HP increase would you say> If it is only gonna pick up a couple of tenths in the 1/4, that's a lot of work.

Sounds great man.

"Black Plague"-- That's one hell of a mods list. Someday I'll get back to TX and get to mod my truck out a little bit more.....
