Looks like that one was supposed to be the first prototype RST.
Your right not worth 60K, I guess he was banking on it being the first RST built and the fact that it was 1 of only 300.


I didnt know they had RST Extra cabs but iIrecently found one.

I Can't verify it as being a real RST, But Acording to its vin number, It is a True VHO with only 622 GMC versions having been produced from the factory in 04.

It shows like 32 of the excact units being ordered so it is possible that they were for the RST Group...

the reason it went for $60k was due to it being a charity auction...the money paid was entirely donated to a charity idr which one but i guess the people with deep pockets have good hearts....or just wanted the tax credit lol

 

i agree way over priced but if you really think about it there only 300 2004 rst's 150 where red with black strips and the other 150 was black with red meaning there was only 75 black with red sierra rst and 75 silverados black with red now lets say out of 75 trucks 25 where totaled leaving 50 almost every rst ive seen had over 50k miles on them the one for 60k had 700 miles so yea i guess you can name your price that doesn't mean i will pay 60k i got mine for 13k but the rst's and the joe gibbs trucks are very rare its a lettered and numbered truck another 5 years from now i think any rst will be work 15-25k but thats just me lol

lol...the truck blue books for $13,xxx...they're never gonna be worth anything spectacular...they're not like a vehicle that's been done on overhaulin' where foose physically worked on it it was just his plans put into action...$23k is way too much in 2011 for a 2004....even with it only having 3,033 miles...remember it's still essentially a WT1500

 

LOL I wasn't interested in buying it, just seen where it was the same one that went for $60k at the auction.
