Sent out the original badges to see if they couldn't be blasted, polished or brushed, and cerakoted. I am currently waiting on these to come back. Sent one to see if they could even be done. They came out great and I will be installing them on the truck once I get the others back. Put the Gibbs wheels back on and this is currently how it sits. Top badge is what I got back from cerakote. Love the brushed look way more than the fake chrome.

That pretty much brings it up to date.
The truck was originally supercharged but I believe the person I bought it from had pulled it and sold it. Now, it originally came with a magnuson mp112. I was originally going to look for a used unit, have it rebuilt and install it. But, after some research I decided I would go with a tvs1900 unit. So that's on order from magnuson. Who knows when that will come it, but when it does, it will be going on, along with a few other goodies.
Plans are to have it around 500whp or so. Nothing crazy, just a fun toy.
Once the supercharger is on it will be time to adjust its elevation down a little.

Thank you!
It's been an expensive learning lesson on having patience when buying something used. Haha.

There were just too many issues to ignore. But, it's mostly taken care of now. I'm really happy with where it's at. Once spring rolls around it will be going in for a ceramic coating and PPF to help protect the paint.

Thank you very much!
Im just glad I'm making the progress as quickly as I have. I'm impatient as hell and need to work on it. Haha

I should add, I am the third owner. First owner passed away, sat for a long time, then second owner bought it (younger guy) loved the truck, had really bad medical issues and was forced to sell.
Truck currently has 37k miles on it. Bought it with 35k on it.

Nice little half ton. Those come with 3.73 gears and 4L60 ?
You will LOVE a TVS1900 on that.
Real interested in LEAD time for delivery of TVS1900 kit from Magnuson.

Thanks! Yes, 3.73 gears and 4L60e. Already have funds set aside for when the 60 lets go. Will either go 80e or a t56 would be fun.

I ordered at the end of November. Going off what their website says, I'm expecting/hoping it ships by the end of January/Beginning of February. I was looking at kits for my 17 Silverado as well and they are about 14-16 or more out.
