Does anyone want to sell me their spare wheel/tire? I can't seem to find the identical 17" wheel so I assume they are Regency specific. Can someone explain? thanks!

Regarding your build number, I called Regency and asked them if I gave them my vin. number if they could tell me my build number. The answer was a blunt, rude NO. Maybe you'll have better luck than me.

i may be wrong but i dont think these trucks were papered like the other special models. i bought my rst brand new from the dealer and i have been the only owner and i didnt get any numbers or special paper work to tell me what # out of 300 in 04 my truck is. all i know is 300 were built in 04 and 150 were 5.3/auto and 150 were 4.8/5-speed. i havent found exact numbers on the the rest of this but im guessin they probably kept the numbers equal. so that would be 150 GMC's and 150 chevy's. then 150 red/black stripes and 150 black/red stripes. so if all of what i said is true then they only built 37 or 38 (cuz you cant have 37.5 trucks lol) trucks that are identical to mine. maybe im overthinkin too much but it makes sense to me. lol

Is it just me or do these people really come off as *********? Aren't they located in TX? I plan on making a trip through there next year so I may just drop in and see what the real deal is there.

I bought my Regency RST Jon Moss brand new also and no special paperwork or certificate was given to me either. Yes, they are jerks. My spare wheel is aluminum, not sure of the size.

My RST came with a Michelin tire. The rim is aluminum and is 18". R04RRST if all you have is a black steel wheel it sounds like someone may have done the the ole' switch aroo. All RSTs came with 18" aluminum spares.

actually when i got my rst it had a 16" steel wheel for a spare then they recalled that one cuz regency found out that it wouldnt fit over the front rotors. so then they swapped up to the 17" steel wheel. i bought my rst in may of 04. so it may have been before they figured all of this out. but it wouldnt suprise me the dealer i bought my truck from was crooked as hell.
