Yeahh im 16 & have a 01 silverado hustled my *** off for it Didnt have My parents help in any way, its extended cab. But My ideal Truck is a 05-06 single cab 5.3 v8 Like i love how the frontend looks & Theres this guy thats willing to trade me his 02 silverado single cab but with a 06 silverado conversion, i love how it looks, but i was thinking maybe i can get the conversion kit for mine But i would need info like on how much the conversion kit would cost & would it look good on a extended cab 01 & like what parts i would have to purchase since im ona 8.50 salary working part time like im only working to pay my mom rent & Fix my truck So please guys help me out with info & places where to get cheeap parts

 

Welcome to the site.. It's going to cost a good bit.. I've seen front clips on craigslist from 800 to 1000 bucks.. Then you have to get it painted. Check ur local junkyards for prices too.

 

Well thank you & dang well right now i have like 300 savedd up What is the Main things I would need to covert it Like you think i can buy all the parts at a junkyard Or would i have to order special parts online ?

 

I'm not 100% sure. But I'd say hood,fenders,complete bumper,grill,head lights, marker lights & not sure about radiator support. Keep saving and find a whole complete front clip..
I think it cost about 3700 to swap my nose. My buddy owns a paint & body shop.
