GMC C-3 locking up when steering sharply right or left

GMC C-3 locking up when steering sharply right or left
2001 GMC C-3 241000 miles. Suddenly started experiencing an issue when driven 50 miles or more when turning sharply in either direction something is locking up within the front or rear diffs or the transfer case or all of the above. What is the most likely cause. Thanks Mitch
