I would probably be taking them off and trying to sell them. I got a autoloan from my credit union today so I just have to cut the check and yea ive been trying to get them to cover everything

Then id see if theyd just leave them off when they fix it. If they dont let the clear cure before they put them back on youll have lines in the clear that will be a bitch to get out. Maybe theyd shave off some bucks to not have to reinstall them

I love my c3. It's an awesome truck. I bought mine in 08 with 59k miles for 13k. No rust at all. But it was when gas was $4+ a gal and no one wanted a truck. But other than the rust it looks like a decent truck. And I would take the steps off and leave em off. It's just a place for salt and water to get trapped and cause more rust

I had mine painted about a year ago, it looks great. Find a good painter.

well brought the truck home, goes back in Monday for rust repair. If anyone needs a bug shield, leer cap or the factory running boards let me know. I put the cap up on craigslist last night. the faster I can sell some parts the faster I can put the money back into the truck.

The plan is a little drop and then some performance mods, i'd really like to get it to wake up a little. If anyone has some solid performance mods let me know. I'm planning on hitting up a few junkyards, looking for electric fans and maybe tbss intake then doing a CAI and tune
