The stripes def. make the truck. Mine started peeling off, and i had them off the whole time they were fighting me on the warranty for them, and it just didnt look as good as it did when the stripes were on it. They came in black, red, white and extended cab ones came in pewter and silverbirch. When i drove by Regency in fort worth (went to the NASCAR races, right down the street from the track) they had a GMC silverbirch single-cab, but it didnt have the brakes or the rollpan, and it didnt say RST.

Painted Stripes on RST
Hummm. The orange stipes on my 06 RST are paint with clear coat. Very smooth and shiney.

I bought mine 2 yrs ago. It had 383 miles on it and the dealer gave me the full warrenty on the chevy parts since regency is out of business.... I paid 14k for it. Tell ya what, i've never done anything ilegal before (other than speeding way to damn fast) but it felt like i stole that truck from them
