Turbo 4.8, your truck is exactly my same idea I wanted. Was going to go to black stripes on my black truck. I'm going to black out most of my other chrome stuff. I too had a previous owner that trashed these wheels. They are BAD like you say and if they weren't so bad, id keep em chrome too but I need to do something cause they look horrible. I thought about doing them in maybe a chrcoal grey also.

yea i always wanted something murdered out.. nows my chance. i have all the chrome accents still just cause too much black just wouldnt catch too many eyes. i thought about the gray as well... id like to see someone photoshop matte black wheels and grey ones onto my truck just to see what it would look like before i dive in. I wont do anything untill spring tho just because i have waaay too many other parts to put on the truck. i love having that problem haha

I know this is a old thread but my foose wheels should be done today. I went with gloss black. There going on my black rst truck and I know a few people wanted to see black on black. Ill post some pictures when I pick the wheels up and put them
on my truck...

 

Nice, when I saw this thread pop up I was wondering the same about black on black.

 

The wheels are suppost to be done monday evening. If all goes well I will post some pics...
