Default 2003 SS AWD to 2WD

Wondering about any lights that will get kicked on by doing this, also the front wheel bearings, w out a CV shaft snub and axle nut acting like clamp will the wheel bearing go out?

Either going to cut the snubs off and use them to support the front wheel bearings or is this not needed, or thought about buying 2wd wheel bearings as long as the front spinals on my AWD truck will accept 2wd bearings

AWD, 4WD , and 2WD all use the same knuckle. Only the bearing is different. Use a 2wd bearing.

I don't believe you will get any lights but I haven't done the swap directly myself.

Well I went and picked up a NP 241C T-Case from the Junk Yard out of a 1989 CK1500 and swapped them out and left the front shaft out for now.

Direct fit!!!

Now enjoying better mpg and burnouts!

241c is a manual floor shift T-Case, ill have to get a front shaft out of that year of truck to install into mine and rig up a classy cable shifter and hid a T Handle under my drivers seat
