Is your trans the new 8 speed? How do they do with power so far? There's already forged parts out for the new engines? I wonder if any of the LS cranks or rods would fit, not sure how the mains are located in the block.

My trans is the 6l80, I know the vettes are doing good with the 8 speeds. Haven't seen a modded truck with one yet.. And yes they have forged parts!!

Update on my truck, added meth and went from a 3.85 to a 3.7 pulley and it now makes 700rwhp and 637tq. Weather was shitty too, like 110 degrees lol

Here is our TBSS: My Purple Monkey Dishwasher TBSS Build Thread - Chevy Trailblazer SS Forum

HOB V1 w/D1SC headunit, wastegated, ebay IC, and some other crap. Currently running 6-8psi depending on the weather.

EDIT: I should add that owning a supercharged vehicle was a childhood dream of mine, and I have owned more than a few turbo cars - this thing is just more fun. That whine!

The Block will be the weak point... the 6.2 crank is forged same stroke. good rods coated pistons will really work nice with a **** ton of boost.

I saw what calculated out to about 750HP on Kurts truck. His was a LQ4 with ported 243's and a fairly big cam. 132 MPH at about 4200 lbs.

We hit slightly more than prochargers claimed max blower speed at 6800 RPM with a 3.2 pulley and a stock diamater crank pulley. He is 12 rib dedicated drive. Boost was slightly dropping off at the very end of the gears. That was likely because of the blower overspeed.

I dont know how high you spin it or what RPM your power peaks, but you could make more HP with a higher peak RPM with a 5.3. His flatlined at about 6300 but held that power as revs climbed.
