See below - when referencing the 6.0 (LQ4) motor parts, it's a 2005 with 20K miles. When referencing 5.3 (LM7) parts, it's a 2001 with 118K miles. (unless otherwise specified)

will that waterpump work on a 2000 5.3 motor? and will the 6.0 liter timing chain set work on a 2000 5.3 as well? thanks.

 

Yes, I believe they are the same. I was just listing what they came off of. Sending you PM.

 

The waterpump will work on the 2000 motor, the only difference is the thermostat hole is a little smaller on the 03+. If you ever need to replace the t-stat you'll have to buy one from an 03+.

The timing set will work as well. If you need the bolts for the cam gear I will include them.

Hmmmmm, I probably need those lifter cups too, but I don't need the lifters. If you have trouble getting rid of the lifters, I'll take 'em off your hands.
