I feel a viberation in the gas pedal anytime the rpm is around 1000. The dealer did scan the transmission but I don’t believe they changed any settings. Def rpm related.
This pedal vibration is still there. I had the ol lady drive the truck and she noticed it too. 1000 - 1300 rpm in any gear. I'm going to unbolt my catch can from the brake booster stud and see if it goes away. I doubt it, but I need to check every box on my end first. I'll cut the flapper wire too. If the vibration is still there, back to the dealer.
The 1/4 track was closed due to weather. Maybe next week.
Been spending some crapper time looking at cam swaps. Is it 100% true that the front dif and steering needs to be lowered to lower the pan to cam swap these engines? I could swore I read some where that you could loosen the oil pump and move it outta the way a bit to do the swap = leaving the pan and other crap alone. Any good write ups?
My 17 5.3/6 spd/3.08 with 6500 miles has the pedal vibration... drives me crazy. Typically 1200-1300 rpm under load regardless of trans gear... It pulses and it very noticeable. Almost feels like an engine mount or something.
Nice new truck!! I've managed to leave mine alone after debadge/tint/wheels/tires/DL3 mirrors... oh wait... yeah... I haven't left it alone. The drivetrain mods will wait until after 5 years/60k, gotta get my money's worth out of the warranty.
i think mine might be from the catch can. its bolted to the booster bracket.
Kinda let down, that was all the oil in there. I guess its good because theres not a lot, but i thought itd have more in the can. Ill check again at oil change which is about 4K more miles. At that time, ill pull the Throttle body off again and see if theres oil in there. I cleaned it out when i installed the can.
