The Exhaust gaskets shown above are not OEM gaskets. There cheap over the counter replacements like fel-pro or someone similar...

OEM gaskets are MLS. The Bolts also are not original and are the first clue someone replaced them.

Good to know I didn’t even think about the gaskets. However I was wondering about the bolts I remember when I installed the headers they looked funny and one was different, But I was just happy they didn’t break off.

I had those remflex header gaskets on my jba shorty headers for years, they worked perfect. They were on for about 7-8 years with no leaks, i did the same with arp bolts. I have the mls gm stock gaskets now with my stainless works long tubes. I'm glad it worked all out for you, how does it run now with the smaller pulley..? With 4:10s and a 5spd that thing should rip.

It’s awesome! Thanks again for being so thorough with the parts labeling and not missing anything. With the low gears in the NV4500 I start on the street in second and 2-3 is an awesome pull up to 80mph. I haven’t pushed it much faster than 80-90 due to stock drive shafts nor have I tried to launch it hard yet but man it makes this 4.8 feel like a 408. Surprisingly since the HD tensioner I don’t notice much if any belt slip.

Probably going to start saving for a junkyard motor and rebuild it myself just to learn. Not sure if I want to go with a 6.0 and stroke it or go for something that I can run higher RPM with. It would help me stretch the low gears a little longer.

Got over 7k miles on the blower setup now without any major issues. Going to do some cooling upgrades soon. A verimax pump, bigger heat exchanger and probably a trick tank.

Would you sell all three separate? Wish you would have sold your blower 6 months ago.
