Thanks guys, I was able to get a little more done yesterday. I machined out the slot for the crank sensor, I welded up the exhaust and added brackets to mount to the trans. I also finished up welding the aluminum cold pipes going to the coolers. I need a 4" inch pipe before I can start on the cold pipe that goes from the coolers to the engine but I have a couple pipes in place (with tape). I also started assembling the front-end It's not close yet, I just need the grill in so I can figure out how I'm going to cram a condenser, engine oil cooler, Trans cooler, Power steering cooler, and two air to water coolers.....
Some more good news, I didn't take into account the bumper mounts when I mounted my Air to waters, now I have to modify the bumper mounts. Luckily it wont be too difficult....
Hey, no problem. Every one uses different methods. I thought that might help you out.
BTW, Running the peddle lower helps, so does cleaning the pipes I'm using a cheap Eastwood TIG so I don't have much control but the thing works good enough for me. I also welded the charge pipe (first Aluminum welding) It turned out REALLY good in spots....

You should see some of the **** I have used at times... Like 40-50 year old arc welders converted to work as a TIG ...
Not that I am the best welder in the world But hey, it fuses metal and it got the Job done at the time...
Well after a whole lot of cap changing in my life I have now officially restarted this project. First up I installed a 2post in the garage, I plan on modifying the rafters but I think we will be selling the house before too long, so I will deal with for now.
I'm struggling getting back in the hang of welding aluminum but I managed to clob together the rest of the cold pipes last night.
