Little update on the firetruck.

I got the 12 bolt rear in there. It was a direct bolt in with the exception of some brake line brackets that hold the brake lines. I had to get a driveshaft built at driveshaft unlimited. Cost me 360 but as long as it works I'm happy.

I did an LQ9 with a 236/242 111+3 cam aka the thunder racing RAPtr cam. Im running a 3600 Fti stall which I think was a little loose for my liking but I got used to it. Also ran a 40k tru cool. After I got my re tune, I was Informed that my injectors and stock pump can't hang so I installed a walbro 450 and got my 60 lb Injectors on the way. I went to the tuner with a bad mass air flow sensor, IAC valve, and was running on 7 cylinders. I didn't know, I thought it ran bad because of the cam and not tuned, but got it all sorted out and they did all they could to get it to idle. Put me on a speed density tune till I come back with all my problems fixed. Turns out, I had a bad wire. I figured it out after I took a ohm meter to them. I also had the 60e built local by a independent builder who has some low 10 4L60e cars so I let him take a crack at it. So far it's doing really good and hanging in there.

The way it is now, I got a best of a 13.18 this past weekend at San Antonio raceway. I can't wait to get my re tune and go back with a premium tune. Hopefully I'll get in the 12's... I would be pretty happy with that. Also I got nitto 555 G2 tires for the rear and there ain't no traction at all. Not happy for what I paid for them.

This truck build reminds me of a Johnny Cash song, but the combination of years aren't catchy enough to sing.
