Like replace the bed side? Super easy. Remove the rail cap, remove the step, remove the tail light, remove the bolts from the bottom supports on either side of the wheel well, remove the 8 (?) bolts from the front side between the cab, the couple inside the area behind the light, then along the top.

Yup you got it, just remember to test fit before you final weld it in place. Tack and place doors back on

ya mine where horrible - looked like most 99 pickups in Michigan today

So youre saying theirs still 99 pickups left in michigan?? I always thought stuff was bad here rust wise until i see stuff with MI or WI plates..

Nice, good to know! I won't be going into this blind, I have a couple of friends to help give pointers throughout. How long did it take you from start to finish?

Ha. You think they have it bad, wait 'til you see an eastern Canadian vehicle. Those guys look at western Canadian vehicles like we look at southern USA stuff. Metal goes missing by the square foot in less than ten years.

Not many! If you do they are usually dragging the bed panels or tailgate down the road after hitting some pot holes.

I had it apart for 3 months - probably had 80 hrs into it

CAPS (Central Alberta Paint and Body Supply) in Red Deer has pretty good prices and availability on sheet metal and it seems to all fit pretty decently.

That they do, and they also supplied the paint and supplies for my hood haha. Cool to see more AB guys on here.
