Default First time to the track with Turbo setup!

Silver bullet got updated fuel system on Thursday, tuned on Friday, new wheel setup installed on saturday and track event on sunday. Phew, barely made it!

Did not know what to expect . First pass i forgot to push the 'high boost ' button so it ran on gate spring pressure (made about 8psi) and ran a 12.8x @ 108mph with like a 2.1 60ft or so

Was able to shave over a second off this time later in the afternoon!

best run was 11.69 @ 117 with 1.88 60'. it was 107 degrees out! so it was not ideal!

won a trophy and some cash for having the 'closest to 12.00' run with a run i hit 11.999

cant wait to practice getting my 60' down and running in cooler weather!

my first run with a shitty 60' on high boost setting i hit a 12.04 or something and was ecstatic that i was going to be able to hit 11's. I was actually thinking that i was going to be running mid 12's but almost hitting mid 11's was the actual outcome! was pretty stoked to cut my 60's down a bit .

Awesome.

That cam is no joke in a 5.3.

What size turbo? What does "high boost" get you?

so i could not build any boost with the foot brake so i decided i need some launch control. i wired up a transbrake and a 2step . went to the track on friday and was able to get a new PB. the launch control and cooler weather were in my favor!

was able to run a 11.28 @ 118.94 with a 1.637 60 foot! was told that i need a roll cage to run faster than 11.5
