Default New from LI NY, 94 S10 SS w/GenII LT1

Hi All

Rob from Long Island, just a crazy old sob that thinks Performance 24/7. Not new to Forums and clearly not new to Performance Trucks but I am new here with a new Toy. Don't know why I havent found this place earlier but glad I found it now...

Just picked up this 1994 LS/SS S-10 and it'll be here tomorrow. Built by a Corvette Specialist who put over $20,000 dollars into the conversion and drove it 20,000 miles afterwards. It's not a race truck, just a Bad A$$ Street Truck with a lot of power that was built right and tweaked and tuned to perfection. Motor, Trans, Rear, Suspension, Coolant, Fuel, Intake & Exhaust, was all replaced, upgraded, & improved. Also has High End Custom Paint.

I'm looking forward to cleaning up the engine compartment, adding some mods, and learning all about the people & trucks here

Cleaned up the engine compartment and some wiring, also put a little elbow grease into the Truck itself.
It's home, looking good, and I'm digging it

Neat truck, are there polished inserts on the valve covers?

Yes I just put those on last week, I was going to change the Valve covers and then I found these for 39.00 on eBay and figured I'd try them first. I was very skeptical when I got them because it was nothing more than a bunch of little pieces of Polished Alum wrapped in Blue Painters Tape. No Glue no two sided tape no nothing, just a wad of blue tape in an envelope, I was like WTF ???

I've been spending time cleaning up the engine compartment and dont have any current ones with me (I'm up in Lake George right now) but I have a few of the inserts and think they surely look better than nothing.

I've cleaned up the wiring a bit more since these pic's, I'm really digging this little truck...

Ya I love it up there, been going for over 50 years now and still get excited every time I pull into town.

Thanks for the Warm Welcome everyone
It is a cool little truck and I've been really enjoying it, been to 4 car shows already and have a huge one this weekend.

Kind of done for now under the hood, just did some small subtle changes to hide some of the unwrapped wires. Couldnt make them go away but I think I did a decent job blending them in...
