Well went to install the ladder bar today and turns out during my short notice move I lost one of the bushing sleeves. Went to several hardware and part stores into with no luck =( Guess I'll have to order one.

Oh I dont mind maybe if I keep stringing out interesting stuff and get a bunch of useless conversations going then my thread will be long

No just competing against myself for longest most off topic build thread.

Swapped to 600lbs springs and did some more trimming. Tomorrow might play around with lifting it some and seeing it it makes it much more stiffer or not. I will say the eibach 600lbs springs seems to have much better quality paint on them the Viper 500lbs i had before chipped and scratched very easy.

Swapped back to the 500lb springs and I think its perfect now. The cv angles have a little negative angle which is perfect for street but I think eventually I will swap to a 3/4 ton diff with an LSD or locker and ditch the lift brackets to gain a little ground clearance.

Truck got broken into and I decided it was time for an alarm so I went all out and got remote start keyless entry and an alarm installed. Don't know how I ever lived without it. Makes me feel like I'm in the 21st century again.

I thought it would be a real pain to set it because its a manual trans with no neutral safety switch but its cake. Put parking brake on press remote start button get out lock truck and thats it.

Just dont let anyone else drive the truck, forgot about that whole remote start on a stick thing, had a guy bring a car into work, guy that worked on it left it in gear, customer hit the remote start when he paid his bill, the car came to rest in the median and high centered and was just sitting there running going nowhere in a hurry....he said he was going straight to the shop that installed it to have it uninstalled.... Lol

I don’t let anyone drive is usually and I wouldn’t trust them anyway haha. I did however finally get around to installing new speakers a set of jell c2-650 and C2-400 along with Dynomatting the doors B pillar and cab wall. Next I just need to rip up the rubber floor and cover the Trans tunnel so I don’t hear my awful rattling trans. Truck is much more relaxing to drive now especially with speakers that don’t crackle in my ear.

I was under the truck today doing montly inspection of everything and for the first time I noticed this. Looks like my y pipe started rubbing my front drive shaft. I know it never did this before because when I installed the headers it had a 1/4in of space or so. Not sure if changing the ride hieght somehow did it or if the exhaust shop moved it some when they welded in the new muffler. Is it somthing I should be worried about? I can always pull that peice of the y pipe and bash it in a little to make room.
