Default hey guys!!!! got a new silverado!

A couple years ago, I wrecked my beloved 2008 Silverado, the only vehicle that I actually liked and never wanted to get rid of, and since then went on a bit of an Audi kick.... I had a 1999 Audi 4 that I finished up, drove a bit, then purchased a 2012 Audi A4, got rid of the 1999, then bought a 2011 S4, sold, the 2012 A4, then got my old S-10 back.... I truly missed the meatlocker A/C on the full sized trucks, so I picked up a 2016 RCSB in Tungsten Metallic and lt package, now I"m gonna customize it a bit, like my old 2008, after I unload the S-10..... again.
anyway, here's some pics!

Here's the Silverado that I had:

here's my s-10 that I kinda threw back together, cammed sl1, built 4l65E, no power accessories AT ALL!

And finally, the new truck. I already have the lowering kit, wheels, tires, and bed cover on order. Tint goes on tomorrow!!!!

I've been clay barring and waxing it while I wait for some parts to arrive, and mentally getting my self ready for another axle flip job.
Hope you guys enjoy, and if you want to see progress, let me know and I'll post up pics as I knock out the mods.

Okay, so the Friday before last, I did my first "mod" -35% window tint on the front windows....

Then, I decided to make myself a fancy new belt buckle!

Much better!

By that time, my wheels and tires showed up, so I slapped them on too!

On Monday, I dropped the truck off at Line-x to get my bedliner sprayed in....

My tonneau cover came in earlier that week, so I was waiting for the bed to be done in order to install, so I slapped that on too.

Now in case you're wondering, I was planning on lowering the truck, so I did a little prep beforehand.

I had this sitting around, Hellwig 7800 from my old 2008 silverado, so I wondered if it would fit...

It did!!!! and my lowering kit came in, so I started on that too.

...and now here it is, as it sits at the moment.....

I would make a joke about same last names from VA but considering I'm from KY I'll keep my mouth shut. Lol.

It's a 3-4/5-6" Mcgaughy's kit. I have the rear at 6", front is about 3.5, rear is at 6", but I'm waiting on the correct drop spindles since Chevy decided to change the balljoint to a heavier model sometime in 2016 without letting anyone know. Apparently, the 2" drop spindles that you would need are P/N 34200, even though the truck has the stamped control arms and cast iron spindles.... Speaking of which, I need to call those guys up ASAP and see what I can do to get the right ones. Until then, I basically have a $33,000 paper weight.
