Now if i just had mounting brackets......

Bars showed up today.... Imagine that... Only took 4 days to get across town

Good looking bars was not expecting them to have bends in them though

Didnt look too closely as i had to take my kid to the doctor, but didnt notice any paperwork in box, nor did i notice any holes for a grease fitting.... Check that out a bit closer when i get back to the house!!! Overall seem to be well made and quite stout!!! Also like the fact the pro comp cut out isnt huge....

I thought so too, also got me thinking.... My rear springs are factory replacement 2500hd springs, i have the block that came with the fabtech lift and the factory block welded to it(though i think at this point one of the welds has cracked), since according to the bracket kit install instuctions, i have to put the rear bracket between the block and the axle, wondering if while i am there, i shouldnt get a set of 2" add a leafs for the springs and i have a set of 5" blocks laying around the shop, which would put me in theory back to where im sitting now with just the one block!!! Never was able to install the adda leaf kit that came with the lift, the center bolt was too big for the stock springs and i decided to weld the factory block and the block that came woth the lift together quite quickly, until i got the 2500hd springs, and they gave the truck a negative rack(i.e. *** end lower than the front) and that wasnt happening!!!

I've always read that stacking blocks was a big no no. I would be concerned even after welding them together and definitely if the welds have cracked.

I can get add a leafs for 81.99 plus tax im sure, and be able to pick them up next day.... Think i may just bite the bullet since i have to take the u bolts loose anyway to install the brackets....

I don't blame ya! My problem is when I try something like that my OCD won't leave me the hell alone! I haven't laid eyes on my replacement motor yet and I'm already losing sleep.

OCD doesnt describe it at times... I had spent HOURS doing research when i built my 6.0.... Not to me tion when i had the truck torn apart!!! fact it was torn apart and i needed this one little thing and that little thing to get this part put back together, and my buddy the entire time going "are you going to do this, before you get this part, just to keep from having to do it again?" My engine swapped turned into basically a damn near frame off resto mod.... And now its like ok shes running almost way i want, still need get headers on, but lack of tractionnis killing me, all the while i have 2 engines i am building, one for my yukon and have no idea what im going to end up doing with the other yet!!!
