Lightbulb PT.N national competition series idea...

How about for the summer '06 the regions of the country compete for points (gentleman bets of course) and on Labor day, a region is crowned Performance Truck's "Hot Bed"...? All validated, track slips and dyno pulls are worth points; with certain criteria in place.

I've always wanted to see a real comparison of where the most powerful/fastest trucks are in the country. NorthEast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Mid-West, Texas, Rockies, NorthWest, Cali. .

I'll play and I know there's PLENTY of guys around NE who would do it. Not brand specific either. It could be a Regional competition where the GM and Ford and Mopar trucks could rally and build points together. If noone shows, no points.

Needs to be a region thing IMO. Funny how Texas is always put by itself Texas, LA, MS and AL should be together IMO but then if it was put that way no one else would have a chance

Glad you guys are up for it!

Yeah, yeah, Parish would rule certain categories... BUT the more trucks participate, the more POINTS a region could get. The power of many.

And yes, Texas has alot of members on all the boards so I percieve Texas to stand alone... The Lone Star State!

My category suggestions:
Dyno HP
Dyno TQ
1/4 mile 1/8th
1/4 mile 1/4
number of participants
amount of shows entered
($ spent?)

All categories would be worth points. Not sure if each individual should get their own seasonal personal best points or if every drag night could qualify...just looking for feedback here.

Prizes and bragging rights.

The southern section would own all!!!! I personally would just like to see more truck sponsored races(like the Thunder Shootout). Some of these companies need to realize that we are out there putting down the times with their products, and I can't count the number of people that come up to me and ask about many of the parts I'm using. I can imagine its that way across the country as well.

Until then, we will continue to have the TR Shootout(I hope)and some other track meetings.
