I thought it was because it "Terminated" the argument of which was better, the Camaro or Mustang.

 

i am not a ford fan and have never owned one but for some reason i have always like the mustangs and damn that thing sound damn good

 

I just rescently traded mine. I rather enjoyed it. It sounded good, but only stock. Had a tune and different exhuast. It was fun and quick, but I knew better then to mess with something with a LS1 or better.



Camera was too close so it made it distorted.

I'm not a HUGE Ford fan myself, but I gotta admit they sound badass with the right exhaust.

 

The Terminators don't play. I know a guy with 2 of them, both pushing over 600rwhp and close to 1000ftlbs.
Tuned by Dirt Track Racer. He knows the numbers better. Both cars sound SICK!

 

that sounded freakin mean! I like them but I dont like how ford always uses F/I and GM sticks with N/A and they are somewhat comparable models... no replacement for displacement

 

i agree, for a guy with a low 11 trans am, i got my *** waxed by a terminator, so i respect.

 

Terminator, never heard of that one. But the 2003/04 Cobra's are a bad *** car I would love to have one all blacked out. LOL I just remember on one of Parish's videos a guy laughs at him and Jim says you ever raced a truck the guy has that cocky attitude and gets his *** smoked LOL.

 

A buddy of mine who is a HUGE ford guy said that the name came b/c thats what they did to the camaro and from what they could withstand. He's got one with around 1200 to the tires. Don't know for sure, at 5300rpms it kept smokin the tires on the dyno at 997 hp. It is now no where near stock and turbo'd. The 03's did have some engine problems though. He blew up 2 that were stock.

You gotta admit whether modded or stock they do sound good.

 

"Terminator" was Ford's in-house name for the '03 Cobra when it was being designed/built...designed to be the best Mustang ever built and "terminate" the competition. I love the Cobras, I have 2 friends w/ '03 10th Ann. cars that are modded pretty good and they are a blast to drive.
