Default Yanked off the door trim, but...

...I have what appears to be an outline of the trim on the door It isn't tape residue, it just looks and feels like dirt that seeped in around the edges of the trim and couldn't be washed off. Would a claybar work to get this off, or is it etched into the paint and will require other measures? Truck has 29k btw

That or some bug and tare remover but make sure you wax and wash the area good after using it or it will discolor the paint.
