Working through an idea - ARB Bumper on a GMC - Ideas?
ok guys, I need some help thinking something through here. I really like the look of the ARB bumpers like this:
The problem is, they do not make them for GMC's, only Chevy's. Now comparing grille/bumper pics, it looks like I would have to cut the grille flush with the bottom of the marker lights/turn signals to get it to work. I though about going for some sort of 99-02 Silvy grille hybrid, but I think that the difference in the hood line would prevent that from being a practical option.
Thanks to LaCuerva for the comparison pic.

They make a bumper for the Chevy light duty trucks also, but did not have a good pic. My other concern is where the bumper meets the lower front corner of the fender, that is a little different depending on what year Silvy it goes with. The '03-06 Silvy 1500's grilles (pic added above) also come down a bit in the middle and also have the fender edge that cuts straight across like my GMC does, but I have no way to know if it is at the same relative height to where the bumper would bolt up.
