Thinking about getting a new grill. I have an 04 rcsb, wanting to put the newer style hd grill on my truck. Will something like this work?

what i get from the listing is it should fit just fine if you swap to that hd style 05, 06 or 07 classic front end, otherwise no it wont fit the 03, 04 and 05 non hd hood.

 

I'm pretty sure it would work, just look at how it mounts on your truck and an 06-07 truck. They should mount the same way.

 

it will mount up fine but you will need a different hood.

 

+1 The grille in the pic is from an 06-07 classic, which has a slightly longer hood than the 03-05. A member put an 06 hood on a pre 06 silvy once and posted pics, the hood stuck out beyond the grille and looked kinda funny.

 

Never seen a 06-07 Classic grill on a 04yr non HD hood something different.

I have seen HD hood on a 03-05 front end grill. Like Budeyes said the 06-07 HD hood hangs over a bit and it looks out of place. But if you cut the hood just a bit so it wont over lap the grill and the hood will look pimp. my buddy has HD hood on a 04 RSCB.
