Default Will this affect acceleration?

I currently have the stock 16" chrome steel wheels with 255/70-16 General tires. Together, they weight approx. 64 lbs. I plan on getting 18" Torq Thrust ST wheels with 285/50-18 tires. According to TireRack.com, this combination will weigh approx. 68 lbs. Also, the tires I want are 1 inch shorter in diameter and 1 inch wider compared to my stock tires. So, considering all these measurements, will my truck's acceleration be the same, faster, or slower. Obviously, the additional 4 lbs. and going from a 16" wheel to a 18" wheel will slow down a vehicle but will the shorter diameter of the new tire compensate for this?

I was thinking it shouldn't affect any accelaration and should remain about the same as mentioned above!

no u are goin to have slower acceleration with the 18's. its not so much the weight but where the weight is located, with an 18 inch tire u are puttin the weight furhter from the axle of roation which increases the roational inertia of the tires, the smaller diameter will help it a little but overal u are gion to be acceleration slower, i dont kno how much slower though.
