Default Will 16" wheels fit my 2005?

Just looking at the clearance from the brakes, I don't think that I should have a problem, but I wanted to check first. I know that all of the 2005 GMC's and Chevy's came with 17's from the factory, so I wanted to make sure that they didn't upsize the brakes such that 17's were required.

I'm thinking about going to a set of factory 16" aluminum wheels to replace the chrome steel 17's. Thanks.

I had no trouble putting 15" wheels with a set of ET streets in the back when I went to the track in July. I thought it was the front wheels we where gonna have problems with due to larger front brakes?

The back isnt a problem, it is the front. I have about a 1/4" in between my wheel and caliper.
