Default Widest Rear Tire Possible on NBS?

Hey Guys!

Been ages since I've been on this site. My truck has been collecting dust for about five years now..

I've been thinking about finally getting it back on the road. One thing I've always hated about my truck was the suspension/stance. I never got it low enough for my liking and never had a wheel/tire combo that I actually liked. My goal is to have a cruiser for the street. I know I'll never have the time or dedication required to building it into a drag truck.

Plans:
Moser 9"
Either 4-Link or Ladder Bars
Coilovers Front and Rear
Tubbed Bed
20x7 5 Lug Fronts
15x12 or 15x14 Rears
WIDEST REAR TIRE POSSIBLE

I remember Phantom was building a black truck with 33x10.5-15's and it looked like it had plenty of room to go wider. Does anyone have images or specs of set ups with a wide rear tire?

I just finished a 02 turbo silverado with quick perf fab 9" and split monos and we put 315 drag radials on the rear with a weld racing 15x12 wheel. I don't remember seeing what the backspacing was but it tucked in the rear fender with a little room to spare. So take that for what you will.

I'll get pics next week when we go to the track.

My truck currently has MT 315/60-15's in the rear with the stock 10 bolt.

Most parts are held on with bolts, so fundamentally- yes

This fella had his build thread here but must have deleted it as I remember Project Tombstone: https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...-air-ride.html

Looks like your recipe is: Ride tech 4-link, mini-tubs, 14" wide rim, and I cannot find a close up of tire.

Was it Blown06 or that banned guy that he'd get into it with that talked about max tire width and how to stretch the bedsides? (While keeping a stock look)

Thank you! Pretty similar to what I’m thinking. I can’t see the tire size either. I’ll have to look at MT’s site and see what size the 20” tires come in that accept a 14” width.
