It got pretty bad here in Macon too, but no hail. I was worried that it was goin' to though, it got rough. Pulled into the parking lot last night and saw lightning strike like 25 yards in front of my truck.

We get hail here a lot in the summer. If your wanting to get it fixed, take it to one of those paintless dent removal places. They work miracles on small hail dents like that.

ditto on that. we had a good storm here and people came from all over the country to get work. i am a skeptic when it comes to people from other places comming to do work because of all the ripping off that goes with the good. but i will tell you i am a believer of the paintless dent repair now. we rented a bay at our shop to a company from out of state and i have nothing but good things to say about them. not that i would want hail damage but i am not as worried as i use to be because of seeing what they can do.

It's funny that you say that, because my insurrance company told me that hail does not chip paint.

I got hit with golf ball sized hail here in Tucson. It was a freak thing and of course mine was the only car to get hit. They pulled out over 100 dents with the paintless dent removal. The shop did an amazing job, but it was still a pain in my ***!

I tried to jump on the hood and save it, but when the golf ***** hit me, it was like small arms fire.

When a storm rolled through College Station, I did not get hit but a friend of mine down the street did. I consider myself lucky!

We have had some bad hail damage on vehicles here before but the worst i have seen at a dealership was when we had some crazy 80mph wind gusts about 2 years ago with some bad storms. At that time, there was a brand new dodge dealership put out here on I-10 and one of the light poles got blown over onto about 4 brand new dodge pickups. It completely tore the truck closest to the light pole all to hell; the windshield was shattered and the roof was smashed in along with part of the hood due to the fact that thats where the base landed. The rest had minor damage done to hoods. Still was pretty funny to see at a dodge dealership...but it gets better. They took one of their big 1 ton dually 4x4 diesels out there to pull the lightpole off(dont ask why they didn't get a crane) and the truck got stuck right on the side of the road in the ditch where every1 going down I-10 could see! I just thought it was funny and i believe they ended up getting a crane or wrecker to help em out after that. Thought that this might bring a smile to some of you dodge haters' faces.

I'm sorry to see those pics. It's those moments that just make you sick to your stomach.
