Who else hates big wheels?

I'm running 20's on my NBS RCSB stepside. I'm looking at going to some 17" or 18" centerlines when I've got the spare money lying around. My 20's are damn heavy, and I can tell really how bad they're slowing me down now that I have a NBS ECSB bone stock DD.

I helped a local kid do an SUV dual piston conversion in the rear on an 06 Crew Cab and the only issue was if you press to hard like in a panic, the rears will lock up.... Should have put a manual per-portioning valve in but the kid Doesn't want too...

I Was even thinking of getting some 17's to replace the factory 20's on the 05
I have seen to many trucks and SUV's that need Wheel hubs, inner/outer tie rods, and occasionally ball joint's as a result of Large wheels and low profile tires...
I am still on all original suspension parts on my 00 and it has around 143,000 miles on it.
At least 20k was with some factory 17's I replaced the 16's with so I could upgrade my brakes some day...

I love the 05ish stock 17 5 spoke wheels.
Its hard to find a good tire size in the 16s, so i went to 17s and couldnt be happier.
Altho i do keep the 16s around for who knows what..

I'm sorry, but if you LOVE 24s or 26s, you are on the wrong forum. That's beyond stupid if you care remotely about performance. In my opinion, 20s look best on NBS trucks; 22s on NNBS trucks. 24s+ on John Deere's.

And good grief people can we please try to use punctuation when we type sentences on the forums sometimes it is hard to read a sentence when you keep typing and never use any periods spaces or commas did you finish the third grade my head is going to explode please thank you and God bless

Makes it much easier to ready
i dont see any point in a wheel any bigger than 18 honestly, but i guess i like things simple, so i went with 17s
