Cmon Bruce all the cool kids want a Donk!

20's look the best, but factory 17's are a close second, and yeah the trucks ride better, stop better and go better with the smaller wheels, at least on my truck they do.

Yeah I've been looking for a nice set of 17's on Craigslist everyday. My dad just bought a set of the 17" Denali aluminum ones for $120 with good michelins on them lol

I wish there were more performance 30" or so tire sizes for 17's and 18's. Had to settle for 275/60-17's. Wee bit fat on 7.5" rims. More wheels options that aren't built for 4x4's would be cool aswell.

Got some 06 front disc set up if you decide to change your set up... At least you can get parts over the counter any were...
05- up for the fronts and tahoe/suburban twin piston rear with hydroboost FTW!!!
Best factory parts and you can still run 17's....

Yeah, all the lifted guys around my area are going to 20", 22", 24" x12"or 14" wide on their lifted truck with low profile mud tires. The forged wheels like weld and american force aren't to bad for weight, but still damn heavy, but I can't even imagine having a 60 lb cast wheel and 75lbs of tire on each corner and expect it to handle well, even for being lifted.
I run 16" x10"welds on my truck with 305/70-16 toyos and it did take away some performance, but very little from stock 16" wheels. I will never own anything other than 16" as long as they keep making the tires.
