Id like to see some of the Tahoes in this group, get some ideas for changing mine up a little bit.

Heres the Gibbs for now, just took the Caddy wheels off and put the JGP wheels back on for summer.

I have only seen a handful of JG Tahoes. Sweet lookin truck.

I have an 02 Tahoe, and an 02 Denali XL.

Tahoe is getting an LSA blown 408, and lots of goodies. Denali is a beater AF, just making it run better for work truck life.

I thought the lsa blower in a 408 wasn't " optimal"

Seen em on top of 427s

Perfect if youre trying to make torque and not top end. It is a 6000lb truck, after all. Doesnt need 1000hp at 7000rpm.

Hoping to make 5-700lbft by 4k on my set up.

What style 408? Lq4 based or ls3 based? Just found a ls3 short block with heads for 2400, wondering if I should ****** it up. Your right about the torque, I have a denali Xl and I'm trying to wrap my head around where I want the torque at.

Sounds bad ***! Your not worried about the pistons coming out the bottom of the block or "egg shaped cylinder walls" lol

I'll bore it out to 4.07 at the next rebuild. It is a concern, but not enough of a concern for me to have scrapped my 408 plans.
