Where to put my shiftlight?

whats the purpose of a shift light...doesnt your transmission to a good enough job...

...I kinda like the idea of the vents...never heard/seen it...certianly wouldnt look outta place tucked in there...dont know how it would be during the day but I guess having dark tinted windows would help a little...

If the shift light has no other purpose than to look cool, etc. Mount it wherever it looks cool.

If the shift light is going to be used for practical purposes, mount it where you can see it clearly. Make sure nothing obscures the view, your hand on the steering wheel, direct sunlight, etc.
